Healthy and sugar-free vegan moist blueberry banana bread
With absolutely no refined sugar and bursting with blueberry and banana flavours: It’s not too sweet, yet it makes a delicious and nutritious dessert or snack.

You will need
- 2 large ripe bananas
- 2/3 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
Start by preheating the oven at 180°C.
Mash the bananas in a medium bowl. Then add in the almond milk and mix until it combines. You can either do it by hand or use a food processor.
In a larger bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Then add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until it forms a homogeneous batter. Be careful not to overmix.
It’s time to add the blueberries and chocolate chips (if using). Gently mix, and you’re ready to pour the batter into a loaf pan.
You can add some blueberries on top for decoration, too.
Bake at 180°C for about an hour. Let it cool before slicing and enjoy!
